Fountain of Hope
There are over 2 million orphans who have been impacted by HIV in Uganda and those numbers are only rising. The situation of these children is only compounded by the rural areas many of them live in. In most cases these children must travel many miles by foot everyday for their education. GGI is committed to reaching these children who can not afford school fees, public uniforms, or even a meal.
Twenty minutes from the source of the Nile River and majestic Lake Victoria lies the rural village of Bukeeka. In 2004, Pastor Robert Sityo started Fountain of Hope School as a response to the immediate need in the area. Over five years, the school has brought hope and change to the community while attracting more than 350 students and turning away many more due to financial restraints.
What We Do
GGI's project in Uganda is called Fountain of Hope School. We are committed to providing a meal everyday, quality education, boarding, and an opportunity to hear about Jesus. FoH also hosts a very active PTA in order to strengthen the relationships between the Christian school and predominately Muslim community.

Through academic and biblical instruction we strive to nurture each student's learning and thinking, and equip them with the tools to achieve a prosperous future within Bukeeka and the surrounding villages.

In order to meet our goal and provide for children's basic physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, GGI invites you to sponsor a child. To sponsor a child is $20 a month.

* Allow the child to attend school by helping with tuition, uniforms and supplies.
* Allow the child to stay within their communities of birth.
* Contribute to the stabilization of communities devastated by HIV/AIDS.
* Provide a Boarding facility for 7th graders as they prepare to take the National Exam

* Two letters from your child and an updated photo of your child each year.
* A quarterly update about Fountain of Hope.
